So, as you guys know, I am hoping to review Nokia's WIndows Phone handsets: The Nokia Lumia 1020 and the Nokia Lumia 920, both of which are high - end Windows Phone 8 Devices. This brought me to write this post on my thoughts on the Windows Phone Interface and OS. By the way, I currently own a HTC 7 Mozart running Windows Phone 7.8 OS.

What I love about the WIndows Phone Interface is how clean in design, easy to use and modern it is. Other OS', such as Android Kit - Kat, can't compare to it. The start screen provides you with everything you need to access quickly and the app list provides you with the apps you use less but still use. It is simple yet genious.

Of course, when you ask someone why they don't have a WIndows Phone Device, they will say 'The Marketplace', and, to a certain extent, I agree. The Marketplace has plenty of apps, but is slightly lacking in the most popular apps. This, of course, is a big disadvantage to the OS and is a reason for someone not to buy a WIndows Phone. I think, what Microsoft need to do, is to change the proccess, so more app developers can create apps easily for Windows Phone. That being said, there is still plenty of apps which are on WIndows Phone and are popular, such as Facebook and Twitter.

Overall, I always have been a Windows Phone user and will always remain one. Hopefully, they will fix the app creating process so more popular apps are available, but I'm still loving WIndows Phone!

When Apple announced iOS 7, I was ecstatic. There are a few new features like iTunes Radio, AirDrop and Control centre, which all look really good. They have also made iOS 7 look visually different to the previous iOS' by redesigning icons (I am not a big fan of these new icons) and generally changing the design. Thats the problem to me, Apple have been concentrating on design so much, they have forgotten everything else. I know design is an important part of any OS, but it seems that all the new features I was expecting to see weren't there. I was expecting Apple to completely change iOS. I guess I might have been expecting too much, but I think Apple did let themselves down a bit with iOS 7. I have not actually had the chance to use iOS 7 yet, so maybe I will be pleasantly surprised.....who knows?

By the way, heres the link to the page showing you iOS 7: http://www.apple.com/ios/ios7/

The Buzz
I was expecting an oversized phone that was annoying to use when I got the Samsung Galaxy Note II. I couldn't have been further from the truth!

As you can see, the phone is fairly large and surprisingly slim. The design is really sleek, and looks very similar to the Samsung Galaxy S3.

Many say that this phone is too big, but I found that the screen is optimum size. I don't like phones with tiny screens, so this size was perfect for me. The screen resolution is also fairly good.

One of the downsides to the phone is the stylus. It is too small and feels hard to use. I personally wouldn't choose to use it over a keyboard.

I love the camera on this phone. The picture is very crisp and it brings out the colour in photos like this one. The front facing camera on the other hand is more blurry and the picture isn't good quality.

What I love most about Android is.......the Google Play Store! I am used to Windows Phone and the Windows Phone Marketplace is pretty bad compared to this. I play games on my phone a lot, so it is important for me to get good games for a good price, and thanks to Android, I can!

Flipboard. It is one of the main apps I use on this phone and it is great. It provides a load of articles based on topics that you choose and it displays them with a seamless and lovely to use user interface. Highly recommended app!

Overall, I think this phone is great value for money and has many great features that put it on a different level to its rivals. I rate it.......8/10. Mainly due to the little specs such as a bad quality front facing camera and a not so great to use stylus.
